ServiceNow Developer role supporting the design and development of Service Management solutions at Boeing. Collaborating with various clients to understand requirements and delivering technical solutions.
Responsibilities
Support the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise Service Management solutions in ServiceNow
Follow industry standards, the successful candidate will collaborate with the existing internal ServiceNow team (and customers) on activities and development projects
Develop efforts will include (but are not limited to) custom portal pages, modules, API and software integrations, customized web pages, User interface policies, scripts, etc.
Participate in administration of ServiceNow to include upgrades, updates, etc.
Maintain technical expertise relevant industry standards and best practices in ServiceNow
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Develop creative technical solutions to complex problems
Work is performed based on documented Project Implementation Plans
Exercise judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Apply technical expertise and knowledge of other related disciplines
Requirements
3+ years of experience in at least one ServiceNow product (ITSM, ITBM, GRC, CRM)
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, UI actions, scheduled jobs, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and a development method
3+ years of experience with web hosted applications, including X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, jQuery or Angular and one or more of the following back-end technologies: JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion integrations
Experience designing and implementing IT and Non-IT related process workflows, procedures and technical standards
Experience in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design
Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Current Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications
Current Certified Systems Admin or other ServiceNow certifications
Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP and REST
Experience with ServiceNow’s HR Service Delivery or Governance, Risk and Compliance products
