Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform for Compass.
Build and enhance capabilities across Employee Center, WSD, HAM, HRSD, ITSM, and SAM.
Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI components, catalog items, integrations, and custom applications.
Design and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, and related web technologies.
Work with HTTP, AJAX, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver robust integrations and user experiences.
Collaborate with product owners, process leads, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate needs into effective ServiceNow solutions.
Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code, while helping reduce technical debt.
Perform testing, deployment support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and team knowledge sharing.
Ensure solutions align with ITIL principles, internal controls, security expectations, and governance standards.
Requirements
Preferred 4–6 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in hands-on ServiceNow development in a complex enterprise environment.
Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development and configuration.
Experience in one or more modules: Employee Center, WSD, HAM, HRSD, ITSM, and SAM.
Strong development skills using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting capabilities.
Experience designing and maintaining integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
Good understanding of HTTP, AJAX, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with AngularJS, Node.js, jQuery, Apache Jelly, or React.
Strong coding skills in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Strong problem-solving capability, including debugging, optimization, and technical issue resolution.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
