Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative category strategies across our entire portfolio
- Identify cost-saving opportunities with existing and new suppliers
- Open up alternative sourcing channels — both domestic and international
- Conduct procurement market analyses and drive global sourcing initiatives
- Prepare for international negotiations and finalize contracts
- Maintain strategic supplier relationships and build a high-performing supplier network
- Participate in exciting global procurement projects
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or a technical field, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement/purchasing for an internationally active industrial company
- Strong technical know-how
- Strategic thinker with a structured approach and consistent execution
- Willingness to travel occasionally to visit suppliers on site and strengthen relationships
- Very good German and English skills for international communication
