Established in 1968 and based in Ravensburg, Blum-Novotest GmbH is one of the globally leading manufacturers of high-quality measuring and testing technology for the international machine tool, aerospace and automotive industry.
Today the family-run company employs more than 600 staff at a total of nine sites in Europe and in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, India and Thailand.
The company is split up into three business divisions.
In the "Measuring Components" division Blum-Novotest develops and manufactures tactile and optical measuring systems for tool setting and workpiece measurement in machine tools.
In the second business division, "Measuring and Testing Technology", the company develops and produces measuring devices, in particular, for the global motor-vehicle industry.
The development, manufacture and sale of complicated function, performance and service-life test stands forms the basis for the third business division "NOVOTEST Test Engineering" located in Willich in the north of Germany.
