About the role

  • Business Developer EMEA responsible for market development and sales of LiDAR solutions. Work in a high-tech environment enhancing security and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • You will take responsibility for existing customers and partners and have the opportunity to further develop ongoing business.
  • You will develop new business areas and customer segments.
  • You will build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and position our products/services as the ideal solution.
  • You will own the entire sales process from first contact through contract negotiation to deal closure.
  • You will work closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to align strategy and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets as well as key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, ideally in hardware or technical sales.
  • Proven track record: You have a successful history of meeting and exceeding sales targets and of building and expanding customer relationships.
  • Strong communication skills: You excel in verbal and written communication, presentations, and negotiation, and can convey complex information clearly.
  • Strategic thinking: You quickly analyze situations, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies to achieve goals.
  • Initiative & independence: You work proactively, autonomously, and solution-oriented, even in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. A technical degree is an advantage, while business or commercial qualifications are also suitable.
  • Languages: German (native / C2), English (business fluent / C1); additional European languages are an advantage.
