Responsibilities
Serve as trusted advisor to assigned client groups, providing coaching and guidance on all HR matters
Understand client needs, identify solutions and propose recommendations
Contribute to the development and execution of HR programs, including performance management, learning and development, and more
Facilitate learning sessions on HR topics
Review and analyze HR data to identify trends, issues and opportunities
Lead assigned full cycle HR projects from scope definition through execution
Prepare professional communication on a variety of HR topics
Review and suggest enhancements to HR programs and policies
Lead all employee activities for assigned client groups related to employee relations and more
Requirements
Significant HR expertise, with a minimum of 5 years of senior generalist experience
Demonstrated practical knowledge of core employment laws and regulations in British Columbia and/or Alberta
Demonstrated ability to influence and coach managers at varying levels
Degree focused in Human Resources Management, or relevant HR certification such as CPHR or SHRM-CP
High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and critical thinking
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and take decisive action
Comfortable and resourceful in a high-volume, fast-paced, and evolving work environment
Exceptional communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is an asset.
