Key Account Manager overseeing OTR sales and customer relationships in South Africa. Responsible for developing new business and maintaining key customer portfolios with site visits.
Responsibilities
Responsible for creating a long-term and trusting relationship with OTR customers.
Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing customers, and actively seek new sales opportunities within the South African market.
Conduct periodical site visits, document key take-aways, and communicate effectively with all mine personnel.
Provide accurate information for weekly landing point meetings, manage expectations, and ensure accurate forecasting for production.
Collect market intelligence, participate in reporting, and generate professional feedback reports along with solutions.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years sales experience within the OTR / Mining Industry
Tertiary Education relating to the role would be advantageous.
Valid Driver’s License
Understanding of OTR Specialized Systems (O-Dis / Treadstat / Toolbox)
Good understanding of Excel / Powerpoint to generate professional, accurate reports
Ability to engage at all levels with all personnel on the mine in English / Afrikaans.
Additional languages will be advantageous.
