About the role

  • Sales Specialist for Interventional Cardiology joining BD to enhance healthcare solutions in the UK & Ireland, focusing on building relationships and achieving sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with leading cardiology centres across NHS and private healthcare settings.
  • Build strong relationships with interventional cardiologists and other stakeholders.
  • Provide in-theatre case support for optimal product usage and patient outcomes.
  • Execute the sales strategy to achieve territory objectives and support business unit goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: identify customer needs, present solutions, negotiate contracts, and close opportunities.
  • Collaborate with local and EU Marketing Managers on training and coaching initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely CRM usage to support territory management.
  • Lead tender and contract processes to secure new business and maintain existing accounts.

Requirements

  • Degree-level education preferred.
  • Proven track record in medical device sales.
  • Experience in or exposure to cardiology procedures is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC literacy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication style to build effective customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for sales and a drive to achieve results.
  • Must be prepared to travel up to 80% of their time within their territory.
