About the role
- Senior Director, Program Management managing a team of program managers in Benelux. Overseeing client relationships and ensuring quality service delivery for BCD Travel.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for oversight and direction of the team including performance/activity updates with stakeholders
- Ensure multi-level strategic client relationships are being established
- Build relationships with clients and stay in regular contact (weekly) with clients
- Evaluate and study client financial statements and hold PMs accountable for client profitability
- Determine pricing strategy and develop client propositions
- Support the development of client and department budgets
- Review and make recommendations to improve the quality of client business plans
- Perform or direct personnel in recruiting, hiring, training, and separation
- Recommend the involvement of BCD Travel specialized departments to achieve client goal
- Represent BCD Travel externally at industry events
Requirements
- Expert in travel management company program management or a very similar business travel environment is required
- Extensive experience in management and leadership of a team and a client portfolio
- Solid skillset in working with business travel industry analytics and the related strategies
- Effective communication skills, oral, written, and presentation in English and Dutch, French language skills are a plus
- Computer literate in business software applications, and familiar with the travel industry tools
- Able and willing to travel within the Benelux 25% of the time
- Confident and experienced in working with a multinational client collection
- Confident and experienced in working with a team with different nationalities at different locations
- You have a College, Associate, or University degree or equivalent experience
