Responsibilities
Own program delivery for Enterprise GIS modernization efforts.
Define and enforce governance standards, quality rules, and publishing processes across GIS datasets.
Act as liaison between functional areas, vendors, and stakeholder teams.
Manage risk, compliance, and change control processes for in-year program adjustments.
Organize engagement activities such as workshops, roadshows, and governance forums.
Review vendor deliverables, contracts, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Oversee remediation work for foundational datasets and support transformational efforts.
Identifies new partners, technologies, and delivery channels.
Develops and manages department expense budget.
Regularly monitors expenses against forecast, providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances.
Communicate program status, risks, and benefits to stakeholders.
Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues.
Presents findings and makes recommendations to management.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Job-related experience, 10 years
Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience (desired)
PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification (desired)
Experience with GIS-Geographic Information System, ArcSDE (desired)
