About the role

  • Mechanical Warranty Administrator providing technical support and customer service for automotive repair claims. Collaborating with consumers and repair facilities, ensuring claims are accurately processed.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls on assigned programs
  • Accurately enter claim information in electronic databases
  • Effectively communicate and understand program coverages
  • Adjudicate claims based on coverage limits
  • Make outbound calls to ensure consumer needs are met
  • Work directly with shops to help consumers receive their warranty benefits

Requirements

  • ASE or manufacturer certifications (Preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/French) (Preferred)
  • Understanding of automotive repairs, shop procedures, diagnostic information, and tires
  • Background in the automotive industry: this could be previous employment as a technician, service advisor, parts person, or automotive warranty administrator.
