Environmental Analyst ensuring compliance with environmental legislation for Grupo BAUMINAS, engaging in audit and licensing processes. Available for hybrid work and travel.
Responsibilities
Ensure correct sequencing and management of environmental information related to permits, permit conditions, policies, AVCB (Fire Department Inspection Certificate), CRQ, Army requirements, environmental liabilities, waste, atmospheric emission sources and water sources;
Provide environmental support during inspections, audits and client meetings for the Environmental area;
Monitor environmental requirements and legislation related to the business, assisting in permitting processes at federal, state and municipal levels as well as their maintenance, complying with deadlines and legal obligations;
Available to travel to support environmental audits (checklists);
Respect and comply with the Group’s internal policies and values, following the Code of Conduct, Compliance and other applicable procedures;
Comply with applicable criteria and procedures; use, preserve and maintain in usable condition the PPE designated by the company; take care to avoid impacting the environment; and respect and ensure that quality, occupational health and safety and environmental impact requirements are met by people under their direct or indirect responsibility, promoting awareness where possible in the services and activities performed;
Perform other related activities according to the nature of the work as requested by the immediate supervisor;
Report to the immediate supervisor whenever irregularities or opportunities for process improvement are observed.
Requirements
EDUCATION: Completed Technical Degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Management/Environmental Engineering or related fields.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS: Recommended 6 months’ experience in the area or in entry-level positions.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE: Microsoft Office suite; understanding of applicable environmental legislation (deadlines, permits, fines and obligations).
RECOMMENDED KNOWLEDGE: Industrial and production processes; management software (e.g., Onegreen – Lira and TOTVS); active CRQ registration.
