  • Project Manager leading JP9101 Defence High Frequency Communications System contract at Babcock. Overseeing delivery, coordinating teams, and managing project quality, schedule, and cost.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the JP9101 Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) Software Support contract
  • Manage all aspects of delivery across schedule, cost, and quality
  • Coordinate with other JP9101 contract leads
  • Ensure services meet Babcock and Commonwealth standards
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee software projects
  • Drive operational excellence through strategic resource management
  • Manage complex software integrations and data security
  • Support business change and user readiness

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ demonstratable project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies
  • Risk management expertise
  • Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Ability to influence outcomes in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current IT technology and/or software development cycle
  • Ability to present complex software projects to a non-technical audience
