About the role

  • Administrator providing essential project support for Naval Nuclear Submarine team at Babcock. Involves managing communications, project documentation, and supporting senior stakeholders and directors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide essential administrative and project support to the Naval Nuclear Submarine Support Engineering team
  • Manage shared mailboxes and action travel and visitor requests
  • Support Directors with diary management and travel arrangements
  • Organise and assist with away days and conferences across multiple locations
  • Prepare project information packs and documentation for Engineering teams
  • Provide general administrative and secretarial support to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced administration environment
  • Strong knowledge of office procedures and systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent or NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
