About the role

  • Commercial Associate working in Software Sales for energy market solutions. Focusing on software sales opportunities and client interactions in a dynamic multinational team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product suite – especially the Software Solutions you are focusing on.
  • Qualify, develop, and maintain software sales opportunities through company and product knowledge, researching consumer needs, and identifying how our solutions can meet them
  • Manage Strategic Commercial Campaigns (Work together with Business Development, Account Management, Advisory and Marketing to run targeted campaigns for strategically identified software use-cases)
  • Be the key contact for Account Managers, Business Developers and Advisory colleagues to integrate software into their pitch calls & proposals (including availability for software demos)
  • Negotiate and contract complex and multifaceted subscription offers, including Software, Data and Project Scopes.
  • Diligently maintain the sales pipeline in our CRM tool
  • Drive Product Strategy using intel gathered from Commercial Campaigns you launch and Client calls, working with Client Solutions and Software.

Requirements

  • You have previous experience in the energy economics, power markets and power networks – preferably in a commercial role.
  • Strong commercial mindset – you enjoy maximizing value for Aurora and the Client, and enjoy negotiating
  • Strong and adaptable communication skills – you excel at external and internal stakeholder management, especially with senior counterparts
  • Prioritise collaborative and constructive team-work – you thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Diligent organisation – you have the ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly, you remain calm under pressure and cope well with uncertainty
  • Creative and innovative problem solving – you enjoy solving complex puzzles, such as matching our services to fit client use-cases. You don’t shy away from trying something new and thinking outside the box.
  • Independent and ambitious – you manage your own time effectively and don’t shy away from driving work packages independently
  • Self-initiative – you thrive in an environment that allows you the freedom to explore your own ideas to drive the sales of the products you are responsible for.
  • English C1
  • Sales, business development, and client relationship experience – especially any experience in energy-related subscription sales
  • Project Management experience - especially any experience in energy-related projects
  • Negotiation skills & experience
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • Any additional language skills
