About the role
- Project Manager leading mechanical equipment delivery for the DNNP SMR project in Ontario, Canada. Oversee engineering and procurement while managing project teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Project Manager, Procurement Integration
- Responsible for engineering and procurement delivery for the DNNP SMR project
- Leadership of project team members
- Responsible for project execution and reporting of KPIs
- Management and staffing of required resources and deliverables
- Contract administration, including scope and change control
- Assemble and lead a multidisciplinary project team
- Key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor project health and performance using KPIs
- Maintain supervisory organization and manage career development of project resources.
Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- Other Engineering disciplines may be considered
- PMP certification is an asset
- Eligible to be registered as Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario
- 3+ years of experience supporting projects in construction, manufacturing, or engineering services
- Stakeholder management experience in joint-venture/integrated projects
- Understanding of nuclear supply chain and materials management principles
- Ability to build and inspire a team
- Experience managing direct reports in a project delivery model
- Appreciation for Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications is considered an asset.
