About the role

  • Project Coordinator providing day-to-day support to project managers and engineers at Aurecon. Coordinating project information and facilitating communication across teams.

Responsibilities

  • The Project Coordinator provides day-to-day coordination and administrative support to the NZ Project Service Group, enabling project managers and engineers to focus on delivery and client engagement
  • Coordinating project information
  • Tracking progress against program and budget
  • Supporting commercial and quality processes
  • Facilitating smooth communication across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Assisting Project Managers in the running of projects
  • Coordinating timely delivery of technical projects
  • Preparing monthly project forecasts
  • Analyzing project performance
  • Assisting with problem-solving
  • Updating resourcing schedules
  • Preparing detailed reports or sections of reports
  • Overseeing project document control
  • Organising meetings, recording and sharing actions

Requirements

  • Highly organised with proven ability to influence others who are working in remote locations to get tasks completed on time
  • Great communication skills at all levels
  • Good financial acumen
  • Ability to actively and positively participate within a team
  • Proactive approach towards personal and professional development opportunities
  • Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Office and, ideally, MS Project
