Responsibilities
- Lead and manage design and construction activities, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and specifications.
- Deliver defined packages of work within broader projects and programs.
- Manage projects from concept through to handover, including scope, risk, financials, governance, and reporting.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects across the full lifecycle, balancing priorities and stakeholder needs.
- Take significant responsibility for client-facing interactions, including report development and presentation of outcomes.
- Leverage project-based knowledge and lessons learned to support continuous improvement across Aurecon.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a project management or consulting delivery role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage discrete work packages under the direction of senior practitioners.
- Well-developed technical skills, with strong documentation, report writing, and presentation capability.
- Experience working in complex stakeholder environments and managing competing priorities.
- The ability to assess contractor documentation, including payment claims, variations, and extensions of time (EoTs).
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with commercial awareness and a commitment to contributing to team capability and Aurecon culture.
- Be an Australian Citizen and eligible for security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
