About the role

  • Business Development Consultant for Impro & ASSA ABLOY Digital Access Solutions in Western & Northern Cape. Focused on generating new business and driving demand for digital access technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the Impro & ASSA ABLOY Digital Access Solutions (DAS) footprint within Western and Northern Cape
  • Act as a senior hunter acquiring new system integrators, installers, key end-users, and consulting engineers
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities with end users, consultants, engineers, and specifiers
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline targeting a variety of vertical markets
  • Conduct visits, meetings, and briefings to establish ASSA ABLOY as a Trusted Advisor
  • Work closely with product managers, engineering, and internal teams to ensure solution design
  • Maintain accurate reporting, CRM updates, activity tracking, and forecasting

Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric
  • Previous exposure to sales, business development, or customer facing roles
  • Basic technical curiosity or interest in digital or electronic solutions
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage
  • Ability to travel for customer visits, events, and industry engagements
  • Valid Code 8 driver’s license
