About the role
- San Marco Community Center Director providing gospel-centered leadership and vision for the ministries and programs. Overseeing community education, sports, arts, and preschool operations while fostering community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and spiritual direction for the San Marco Community Center (SMCC) as a gospel-centered outreach and ministry hub of Aspire Church San Marco.
- Oversee all SMCC ministries and programs, including sports, arts, education, and preschool operations.
- Directly supervise and support the TPSM Director, ensuring the preschool fulfills its educational, spiritual, and operational goals in alignment with Aspire Church’s mission and standards.
- Provide leadership and oversight to the SMCC Sports Ministry Director, guiding the use of sports as a missional platform to build community and foster gospel relationships.
- Build and maintain relationships with local schools, nonprofits, and civic organizations to expand SMCC’s community impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Degree in ministry, education, or nonprofit management preferred.
- Experience in community engagement, missions, or nonprofit leadership required.
- Experience managing multi-department staff or ministry teams.
- Experience in education, preschool, or arts programming preferred.
- Experience developing community partnerships or adult education programs desirable.
- Familiarity with Aspire Church’s mission and culture highly desirable.
