About the role
- Field Technician managing environmental projects including sample collection and technical reporting. Supporting contaminated land management and ensuring project alignment with technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform field activities including soil sample collection, installation of monitoring wells, conducting environmental drilling and investigations, waste removal, and sampling of groundwater and soil vapors;
- Support activities related to contaminated site management as required by projects;
- Prepare technical reports for preliminary assessments, environmental investigations, groundwater monitoring, intervention plans, and implementation/operation of remediation systems;
- Liaise with subcontractors, such as laboratories and drilling companies, to plan and organize field activities, ensuring alignment of procedures, schedules, and the project's technical requirements;
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare tables and organize data, schedule field activities, and communicate with the QA/QC team regarding sample quality-control procedures and other technical aspects involved.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related fields;
- Preferred: Experience with QGIS. Experience with Leapfrog is a plus;
- Technical knowledge in contaminated site management (GAC);
- Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Contaminated Site Management
