About the role
- Analista Contábil Jr. supporting routine accounting activities and ensuring compliance at Indigo. Responsible for assisting with monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting closures.
Responsibilities
- Support the accounting team in performing routine accounting activities
- Ensure the accuracy of records and compliance with accounting standards
- Perform basic accounting tasks and contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings
- Assist in preparing and posting accounting entries
- Perform account and bank reconciliations
- Support the preparation of accounting and financial reports
- Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings
- Assist in analyzing account variances and expense control
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures
- Maintain organization and filing of accounting documents
- Provide support for internal and external audits by supplying necessary documents and information
- Participate in training and ongoing development in accounting practices
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field (currently studying or recently graduated)
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting is desirable but not required
- Basic knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
- Experience with ERP systems (Protheus) is a plus
- Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Basic to intermediate English is desirable
