About the role

  • Business Analyst responsible for technical analysis and requirement documentation in the banking domain at ANZ. Collaborating within Agile environments to streamline processes and enhance solution quality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the technical analysis of requirements, designs, solution quality to support engineering activities
  • Elicit, understand, validate and document requirements for business issues, functions, and processes
  • Support the delivery of solutions through the SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
  • Act as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring solutions meet user expectations and business goals
  • Engage in continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline business processes and reduce manual effort

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in the banking domain
  • High level understanding of Technology Products (APIs, Platforms, Software)
  • Experience in supporting or delivering end-to-end mobile platform projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create documentation (e.g., use cases, prototypes, technical specifications)
  • Experience facilitating workshops with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools)
