Responsibilities
Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with business objectives and customer value.
Work with agile teams across the full lifecycle (discovery, refinement, sprint planning, execution, review, and retrospective).
Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
Translate business needs into well-structured Epics and User Stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria.
Ensure backlog items meet Definition of Ready standards before sprint planning.
Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and support sprint planning with well-prepared stories.
Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clarity and transparency.
Proactively manage stakeholders, dependencies, risks, and expectation alignment.
Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, QA, and Delivery Managers to ensure feasibility, technical alignment, and quality.
Support product visioning, roadmap alignment, and incremental value delivery.
Ensure traceability from business goals to delivered features.
Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback loops from sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Enable teams to make informed decisions autonomously by providing structured, timely information.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, IT Business Analyst, or similar role in software development environments.
Proven experience working within agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains.
Experience defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting QA/testing validation.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience working in medium to large-scale software implementations.
Exposure to scaled agile environments.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar.
Agile certifications (CSPO, PSPO, PMI-PBA, etc.).
