About the role
- Hydraulic Development Engineer designing and calculating Pelton turbines for ANDRITZ. Collaborating with teams for innovative engineering solutions in a dynamic and technological environment.
Responsibilities
- Hydraulic sizing and calculation of Pelton turbines
- Designing of hydraulic profiles for all turbine components (Pelton) with CAD (Unigraphics)
- Computing of Pelton turbine components with CFD softwares
- Development and support in maintenance of softwares and tools applied for hydraulic engineering (design, experimental and numerical tools)
- Support for Troubleshooting
- Support and consulting of sales department as a hydraulic turbine expert
- International representation
- Intense collaboration with national and international project management
- Support of other colleagues in the team
Requirements
- Education as Mechanical Engineer or Hydraulic Engineer or similar with experience in hydraulics
- Experience in program development (C-sharp, Python, LabView)
- Experience in experimental measurements
- Advanced knowledge of turbine hydraulic design
- French mother language with excellent knowledge of English, German is an asset
- Reliable, dutiful, can work autonomously, open to innovation and novelty
- Communicative and open personality, can work in a team
