About the role
- Travel Consultant coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements for clients at CWT SatoTravel. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and resolving travel-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Builds domestic reservations for clients including air, hotel, rail, and ground transportation
- Builds single destination international itineraries to major international destinations
- Advises clients on international travel requirements such as visas, passports, immunizations, etc.
- Solves typical travel-related problems consistently
- Operates within detailed procedures under minimal direction
- Interacts with travelers or travel arrangers and provides 1st level of support for customer service and technical issues
- Uses CWT SatoTravel preferred vendors to improve profit and ensure adherence to clients’ travel policy
- Attends staff and training meetings for ongoing updates in the travel industry and office procedures
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year call center experience or equivalent travel consultant experience
- Industry knowledge and reservation skills to create domestic and single destination international reservations
- Sabre GDS experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Ability to meet and maintain required performance standards
