About the role

• Senior Consultant in Ryan’s Business Solutions Team working with internal customers to identify problems and deliver technological solutions. Responsibilities include idea management, research, and client deliverables.

Responsibilities

• This role is responsible for working with internal customers in the identification of problem areas and opportunities, idea management and evaluation, researching and scoping solutions, and assembling and managing the human and technology resources to deliver new solutions.
• Ryan’s Business Solutions Team projects include research and development/proof of concept work, building custom non-commercial solutions, and informing the roadmap for commercial software product offerings.
• Create a positive team experience.
• Provides guidance and assistance to other and subordinate team members.
• Proactive work status update US / India liaison.
• Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
• Assists with the creation of client deliverable documentation.
• Assists with the data gathering, extraction, and analysis of client data.
• Assists team in client data acquisition.
• Assists customer support with technical problems and questions.
• Implements, tests, maintains, and supports software, based on technical design specifications.
• Prepares technical design specifications, based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
• Reviews functional requirements, analysis, and design documents and provides feedback.
• Investigates software development tools.
• Participates in architecture and code reviews.
• Analyzes existing business and system processes.
• Develops new process designs for tax determination.
• Determines the documents business and system processes performed for tax determination.
• Installs and configures tax automation software solutions.
• Creates, executes, and documents testing scenarios.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in business management, tax, computer science, information systems (MIS) and equivalent STEM degrees or equivalent experience
• 3+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Able to apply tax and technology domain expertise with good judgment and impactful communication to contribute value and accomplish desired outcomes for clients and the Firm
• Proven ability to develop and cultivate meaningful relationships with internal/external clients resulting in client loyalty, satisfaction and continued growth and expansion
• Operates efficiently, ensuring profitability of work and stewardship of company resources
• Plans and prioritizes to ensure successful delivery of high-quality business results on time, every time
• Exhibits determination, resilience, and commitment
• Experience with Microsoft® Excel and Access, Microsoft® Outlook, Microsoft® Word, CRM, and internet navigation/research
• Experience with one or more data analytics and/or visualization platforms
• Functional knowledge of finances packages such as HRIS, CRM, and ERP systems is strongly preferred
• Alteryx Certification (highly preferred)
• PMP Project Management Professional Certification (preferred)
• CSM Certified ScrumMaster (preferred)
• PMI-ACP Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred)
• PMI-PBA Professional in Business Analysis (preferred)
• Six Sigma certification (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (required)
