About the role

Enterprise Architect at amber developing AI-based knowledge platforms and defining enterprise architecture frameworks. Leading cloud strategies and ensuring IT governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

You define and further develop the company-wide enterprise architecture framework that aligns technology, processes and business strategy
You design and integrate systems and platforms to ensure scalability, security and sustainability over the long term
You guide management, technology owners and project teams through critical architectural decisions, providing orientation and strategic guidance
You set standards for architecture governance, technology selection and best practices across the organization — including responsibility for make-or-buy decisions
You advise and coach engineering and IT teams, promote technical leadership skills and interdisciplinary collaboration among stakeholders
You work closely with technology stakeholders to design solutions that meet current requirements while taking future developments into account
You establish a culture of strategic foresight, continuous improvement and innovation in enterprise architecture

You have extensive experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy or designing complex IT landscapes, including leading company-wide technology initiatives
You bring deep expertise in designing scalable, secure and interoperable architectures that integrate diverse platforms and technologies
You are familiar with modern architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), cloud platforms and integration patterns for enterprise systems, as well as governance and compliance requirements
You have previously led technology decision-makers and cross-functional teams through strategic architectural decisions and trade-offs
You advise and coach stakeholders at all levels, foster knowledge sharing, technical leadership and close alignment of business and IT
You communicate precisely, persuasively and on equal terms with different groups, work effectively with executives, business units and IT teams, and are fluent in German and English
You bring a strong passion for continuous improvement at amber and help shape an enterprise architecture that enables innovation, agility and long-term business success
You stay up to date on new technologies and trends and know when their adoption is worthwhile and when it is not
