About the role
- Junior System IT Administrator supporting IT operations in the semiconductor sector. Handling hardware/software inquiries, managing IT assets, and assisting the team with network/server maintenance.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for IT issues and support for colleagues with hardware and software questions
- Manage Apple devices with Jamf Pro, including user onboarding and offboarding
- Support the senior IT team with network-related issues and server maintenance
- Maintain device inventory and ensure clean, complete documentation in the asset management system
- Basic support and maintenance for macOS/iOS, Windows, and Linux endpoints
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or an equivalent qualification
- Strong interest in macOS and initial practical experience with Jamf Pro
- Helpful, solution-oriented work approach with a technical interest in assisting people
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN, WLAN) and a strong willingness to learn
- Structured and organized working style with good English skills; German is a plus
