About the role

  • HR Manager leading the HR Business Partner team in Germany. Implementing HR strategies and ensuring adherence to labor laws while fostering employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and support the HR Business Partner team (m/f/d) at our German locations
  • Implement global and regional HR strategies while taking into account local requirements and business needs
  • Provide strategic HR advice to leaders on all people-related matters, particularly performance and employee relations
  • Oversee talent and succession planning through regular talent reviews and individual development plans
  • Coach leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities and support change processes
  • Develop and implement initiatives to increase employee engagement, satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with works councils on an equal footing, including negotiating and implementing works council agreements
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, internal policies and HR best practices across all business areas in Germany

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education or a comparable field
  • At least five years of professional experience in HR, with part of that time in a leadership role
  • Solid knowledge of German labor law and experience working with works councils, including negotiating and implementing works council agreements
  • Practical experience in performance management, talent development and employee retention
  • Experience managing change and supporting transformation phases
  • Confident working with international, interdisciplinary HR structures and project teams
  • Strong communication and advisory skills and a professional approach to diverse stakeholders
  • High level of personal responsibility, solution orientation and intercultural sensitivity
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness to travel within Germany, particularly in Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse
