Responsibilities
- Administration, maintenance and further development of our network infrastructure with a focus on Aruba (HPE) and Sophos products
- Operation and optimization of LAN, WLAN and WAN environments
- Configuration and maintenance of firewalls, VPN connections and security policies (Sophos UTM/XGS)
- Network monitoring, performance analysis and troubleshooting
- Participation in IT projects in the areas of networking and IT security
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Automation and standardization of processes using PowerShell scripting
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in IT (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in network administration, ideally with Aruba switches/WLAN and Sophos firewalls
- Solid knowledge in VLAN, routing, VPN, 802.1X, DHCP, DNS, SNMP
- Experience using and developing PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks
- Good knowledge of current network and security standards
- Certifications such as Aruba Certified Network Professional or Sophos Certified Engineer are desirable
