Responsibilities
Lead negotiations and partnerships to secure terms and expand service offerings for the designated market, including the full contracting process. Look for and implement cost savings within existing cooperation models.
Address and resolve operational issues or service disruptions to minimize impact on domestic and international merchants/customers.
Oversee all carrier relationships (quality and costs) and ensuring adequate capacity at expected SLAs for designated platform.
Handle all matters related to carriers providing the service on the international markets.
Develop mitigation strategies (alternative carriers, hybrid models) and lead the development of new services for carriers from a business perspective.
Conduct logistics markets research to ensure an optimal blend of partners and delivery methods.
Verify invoices/settlements and manage claims in case of incorrect settlements.
Support Allegro 1P CZ / 1P|1F PL operations for international delivery lanes.
Requirements
Proven experience in the KEP industry in business development, with a strong track record of engaging and negotiating with C-level executives in the logistics or e-commerce industry.
Expertise in courier services + last-mile delivery, with in-depth knowledge of industry products, particularly operations planning, international delivery, Out-of-Home delivery solutions + their impact on e-commerce logistics.
Deep understanding of the EU and neighboring non-EU courier market, including emerging trends, key players, and innovative logistics solutions.
Understanding and experience in working with cross-border, non-EU shipping methods, their legal framework, transportation requirements, documentation regimes, border-crossing patterns to UA.
Proficiency in business tools, including Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), for data analysis and presentations.
Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster long-term strategic partnerships.
Analytical and data-driven mindset, leveraging insights to optimize logistics strategies and drive business growth.
Strong time management and organizational skills, ensuring efficiency in handling fast-paced initiatives.
Ability to work under pressure, managing high-stakes negotiations and fast-moving industry developments.
