About the role
- Technical Analyst supporting health and safety compliance at ALE, Brazil's fuel distributor. Ensuring safety standards and regulations in technical operations and training initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide support, analyze and issue opinions on the technical feasibility of any company decision involving health and safety;
- Recommend the adoption of internal procedures to management with preventive objectives, aiming to ensure the safety of the company's processes;
- Know and interpret applicable legislation for the area, as well as its updates;
- Provide support for internal and external audits;
- Provide internal Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) advisory services to identify and implement improvements in processes and work environments;
- Develop training programs for workforce qualification related to Health and Safety, as well as specific OMS trainings defined by the company;
- Conduct Health and Safety inspections at terminals focusing on compliance with OMS requirements and other ALE assurance programs (HSE Program at the Bases);
- Participate in the activities of the Emergency Response Team at the assigned unit;
- Accompany Fire Department inspections and follow up on corrective actions required to obtain the operating permit.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced level);
- Experience using health and safety management software (HSE/SST);
- Knowledge of labor and social security legislation related to occupational safety;
- Completed secondary education (mandatory) and Technical Certificate in Occupational Safety;
- Higher education preferred in areas such as Technologist in Occupational Safety, Administration, Engineering or related fields;
- NR-20 certification (handling and storage of flammable liquids);
- NR-10, NR-33, NR-35 certifications (as applicable);
- Desirable knowledge of methodologies such as Risk Analysis;
- Previous experience in fuel, petrochemical or logistics companies with a focus on HSE.
