Responsibilities
Lead and oversee apprenticeship Delivery Services operations within the Edmonton Region, ensuring consistent and effective client service.
Provide leadership in workforce planning, performance management, budgeting, and financial oversight.
Ensure regional operations comply with the Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship Education Act, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Support the development and Implementation of provincial strategies, operational plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead staff in modernizing service delivery through strong change management.
Analyze trends, performance data, and service outcomes to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholder groups to foster bilateral communication and maintain awareness of stakeholder needs and improvement opportunities.
Lead, coach, and support staff through change while fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing workplace.
Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior leadership on operations and emerging issues.
Provide a productive and safe work environment through the promotion of the GOA OH&S model, staff development and mentorship, and health wellness practices.
Requirements
A recognized trade certificate and/or University degree (Business, Adult Education, Management Development Program) plus four years related experience.
Significant experience in operations management, service delivery and transformation, or program administration.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervising teams in a complex, client-focused environment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
