About the role

  • Account Executive in Food & Beverage Sales responsible for managing the entire sales cycle. Focused on engaging prospects and turning them into happy Alan customers, primarily in France.

Responsibilities

  • You will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing.
  • In our Food & Beverage Sales team, the average sales cycle is six months, working with companies of 30 to 300 employees and an average ARR of €150K.
  • At Alan, Account Executives drive deals and close strategic opportunities with prospects.
  • We sometimes manage customer relationships to ensure the smoothest possible onboarding.
  • You will educate prospects, deliver inspiring product demos, and onboard key stakeholders to make the transition from prospect to customer seamless.
  • We expect you to understand and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method.
  • This method makes the prospect experience an integral part of the overall Alan customer experience—pleasant and delightful for everyone.
  • You will be instructive with prospects (Smart) and define the best personalized high-touch strategy for each prospect (Soft).
  • You will also help the company grow and improve by challenging our product(s), methods, and strategy, and by participating in initiatives to expand our customer base.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing; prospecting is a key part of the role.
  • Full professional proficiency in French (C2+) and advanced level of English.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-up skills.
  • Empathetic and passionate about understanding and solving prospects’ problems.
  • Able to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building.
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring-revenue business models.
  • Positive attitude and strong ability to collaborate within a small team.
  • Eager to learn quickly and make an impact from day one.
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, or Marseille.
