Responsibilities
Managing the sales process and driving profitable sales growth
Meeting and exceeding assigned objectives for profitable sales growth, A/R management, and customer retention
Developing and executing sales plans to service new customers while maintaining existing customers
Engaging customers to link their business priorities to the Airgas value proposition
Negotiating and closing sales agreements
Keeping current with industry insights and monitoring competition
Assisting in the management of existing customer Accounts Receivable balances
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a science, business or related degree field required
In lieu of degree, consideration for up to 4 years of additional related experience may be accepted
A minimum of 3 years of prior outside business-to-business sales experience
Proven experience and success in solution-selling concepts
Demonstrated history of adding new customers throughout a defined sales territory
Knowledge of customer segmentation
Capability to lead customer interactions
Proven success in using customer knowledge and industry trends
Excellent organizational, written and oral communication, listening and presentation skills
Strong PC skills (e.g. Google applications, MS Office)
Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, industrial gas/welding supply sales a plus
