About the role

  • SAP Support Developer focusing on application support and development for clients. Collaborating with functional consultants and troubleshooting technical issues with ABAP and SAP BTP.

Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for our clients in SAP application support with a focus on development
  • Receive, analyze and handle incident and change request support tickets and fault reports via the ticketing tool
  • Analyze technical errors in ABAP programs, interfaces, forms and extensions
  • Support operation and analysis of extensions and integrations on the SAP Business Technology Platform
  • Implement bug fixes, adjustments and support-related changes
  • Closely collaborate and coordinate with functional consultants in the support team to analyze and debug technical root causes
  • Ensure stable and high-quality operational SAP support in clients' day-to-day operations
  • Reproduce, analyze and permanently resolve defects on client systems
  • Document solutions, adjustments and technical workarounds

Requirements

  • University degree in (business) computer science, business administration, or a comparable IT qualification with a strong understanding of processes
  • Several years of experience in SAP development (ABAP, ABAP Objects), ideally with a focus on SAP S/4HANA or S/4HANA Cloud
  • Experience with form technologies such as SmartForms, SAPscript or Adobe Forms, and with interface technologies like IDoc, OData, RFC or web services
  • Experience with the SAP Business Technology Platform, particularly in extensions, integration and cloud services, is an advantage
  • Experience in SAP application support and using ticketing tools
  • Analytical, solution-oriented and customer-focused mindset
  • Independent, structured and reliable working style
  • Team player, resilient and enjoys operational support and customer interaction
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
