About the role

  • Project Administrator supporting daily activities at job site for Aecon, a leader in infrastructure development. Engaging in project documentation, billing, and data management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Learn, interpret, and apply organizational policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Process and distribute invoices to appropriate departments for review and approval.
  • Prepare and submit project billing in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate and prepare job packages and project documentation.
  • Compile and prepare monthly financial data and reports.
  • Maintain organized and accurate data tracking and filing systems.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in an administrative role, with construction industry experience considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Professional and effective communication with all levels of staff, from frontline employees to senior leadership.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with financial or accounting software is considered a strong asset.
