About the role

  • Account Manager for a growing scientific instruments distributor based in Laval, QC. Supporting growth by managing client relations and improving sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Understand clients' needs and translate them into tailored commercial proposals
  • Provide structured follow-up on each quotation (follow-ups, clarifications)
  • Maximize the potential of the existing customer base
  • Identify dormant opportunities and reactivate accounts in the academic, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors
  • Document best practices and propose concrete improvements to sales processes
  • Maintain accurate data in the CRM
  • Contribute to new marketing, modernization, and content-creation projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biochemistry (preferred), physics, engineering, OR a background in sales
  • Experience in a B2B sales role, in consulting, or in a technical environment
  • Comfortable with digital tools (CRM, Microsoft 365)
  • Self-discipline, strategic mindset, and ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously
  • Intellectual curiosity to understand the technical challenges of laboratories
  • Fluent in French and a good command of English
