Responsibilities
A Product Owner at Actabl provides the knowledge and expertise in a specific subject, business area, or technical area for a project or program.
Defines procedures or standards, using the knowledge of what the right or best way to execute a task would be; and recommends procedural improvements.
Develops performance objectives and determines acceptable performance levels.
Assures area of expertise is clearly explained to others, and serves as liaison within a department or function for questions and problems within the area of expertise.
Supports the definition of processes and policies, supplies business rules and procedures, and communicates the contexts in which the rules, processes and policies are applied.
Represents a business units' needs to the project team.
Validates the requirements and deliverables that describe product(s) or service(s); tests the product(s) or service(s) near the end of the project or program, using and evaluating it for accuracy and usability; and provides feedback to the project team.
Provides input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and may validate executed test results.
Guides others working on a project to ensure the content is accurate.
Resolves issues relevant to project deliverable(s) within the area of expertise.
Partners with Customer Experience (CX) to understand voice of the customer, incorporating user feedback and pain points into backlog prioritization.
Collaborates with Support to investigate and resolve escalated cases, identifying product improvements that address recurring issues.
Leverages AI tools and other productivity software to increase efficiency and quality of work, including AI-assisted research, writing, analysis, and workflow automation.
Requirements
1-3 years of product ownership experience (working with SCRUM teams is a plus)
Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing projects and motivating teams/individuals
Strong project management skills
Extremely analytical, structured and experienced in handling several projects at the same time and high stakeholder demands
Passionate about consumer product experience with a history of managing projects that facilitate or enhance customer experiences
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, and cross-functional environment
Experience in working with Product, Engineering, and Quality to execute software projects in an Agile Environments
Comfortable interfacing with customer-facing teams (Support, Customer Success) to translate user needs into actionable product work
Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and other productivity software to increase efficiency and quality of work (e.g., AI-assisted writing, research, analysis, and workflow automation)
