About the role
- VP of Enterprise Surveillance leading RCSA program execution. Driving compliance and addressing risk control gaps while collaborating with internal stakeholders at Synchrony.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the Synchrony Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program
- Own and ensure consistent and calibrated compliance with Synchrony surveillance standard across functions
- Drive consistent periodic updates to surveillance and RCSA activities
- Operationalize routines to ensure Synchrony surveillance standard is maintained
- Work with process owners, 2nd and 3rd line partners for oversight and effective challenge
- Lead cross-functional efforts to address risk control gaps
- Develop and monitor key performance and risk indicators for Surveillance Program and RCSA execution
Requirements
- 2+ years experience working with RCSA programs
- 4+ years experience in audit, Operational Risk, Risk Testing and/or Compliance
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in delivering both verbal and written communications to executive level business leaders
- Understanding of Test of Design and Test of Effectiveness for control environments
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
