About the role
- UX Research Intern assisting in user research activities and documentation at TymeX in the Philippines with opportunities for international travel.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and conducting user research activities such as but not limited to user interviews, usability tests, and surveys. Responsibilities will include participant recruitment, scheduling, preparation of research materials, and moderation.
- Help create and maintain research documentation, such as participant consent forms, session guides, note-taking templates, and reports.
- Assist in the uploading of reports, uploading of user sessions, tagging studies, organizing projects, and monitoring usage of the TymeX research library.
- Assist in TymeX’s internal research academies by scheduling class dates, preparing class materials and merchandise, and monitoring class progress.
- Observe and learn from experienced researchers, shadowing them during research activities, and participating in team discussions.
Requirements
- At least one research project to showcase (can be independently done or as part of a school project)
- Living in Metro Manila.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Design, Information Systems, Information Technology, Communications Research, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with at least usability testing, in-depth interviews, and survey design.
- Fluent in English and Filipino language.
- Curious, hardworking, organized, and detail-oriented
