About the role
- Support the development of protective measures for international trade compliance and enhance customer experience
- Assist in managing foreign trade regulations, ensuring compliance with import and export procedures
- Learn about Customs regulations and tariff classification, including specific classification codes
- Utilize and manage trade tools and product catalog for effective compliance tracking
- Contribute to internal audit reports, ensuring adherence to KPIs in trade compliance
- Aid in the preparation and maintenance of AEO certification documentation and processes
- Engage with cross-functional teams to deepen trade compliance knowledge and share insights
- Support projects that streamline import/export procedures and enforce trade programs
Requirements
- Students pursuing degrees in International Business and/or Foreign Trade (education recommendation)
- Understanding of regulatory concepts, including tariff classification, import/export and customs documents
- Proficiency in managing and organizing data using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to conduct independent research on foreign trade regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- (Nice to have) Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with specific foreign trade compliance software
