About the role

Responsibilities
- Serve as the central point of contact for fundamental legal issues with a focus on compliance, anti-corruption and data protection
- Coordinate company-wide risk management and data protection activities and support related measures in close collaboration with the Executive Management, CFO, Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer
- Develop and implement compliance tools and a Compliance Management System, including guidelines, policies and procedures
- Advise business units on drafting and updating standard contracts for customers, suppliers, service providers and employees
- Support certifications and external audits and carry out internal audits and controls to identify risks and prevent losses
- Assist HR in planning and delivering training on compliance topics such as anti-corruption, data protection, occupational health & safety and IT security
- Prepare reports for Executive Management and, when required, draft external compliance and data protection reports
Requirements
- Successfully completed Second State Law Examination (fully qualified lawyer in Germany)
- Several years of professional experience as an attorney/fully qualified lawyer, ideally in a law firm or in an in-house legal department
- In-depth knowledge of civil law, particularly contract law
- Knowledge of unfair competition law, data protection, IT or public procurement law
- Experience in compliance or quality assurance is an advantage
- Analytical thinking, independent and structured working style and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Proficient user of MS Office
