About the role

  • Develop formal product training infrastructure for internal and external purposes addressing inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and operational best practices
  • Supervise, perform testing, and commissioning of equipment to meet internal and customer requirements
  • Assist and coordinate with Service and Engineering teams to resolve operational service issues
  • Maintain interfaces between local service teams and global engineering teams to ensure 24/7/365 coverage for urgent service
  • Assist in service reporting, failure analysis and investigations, coordination with engineering and reporting to customer Service Quality Management representatives
  • Produce and standardize technical manuals, service bulletins, and information bulletins
  • Keep up to date with relevant technology and operation of relevant hardware and software within the Product Line
  • Collaborate to maximize NOV CAPS/ISE value with customers and maintain customer relationships

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Technical diploma or trade designation (Heavy Equipment Technician, Automotive Service Technician, Rig Technician, Millwright)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hydraulic assembly, troubleshooting, and repair, mechanics, pump and/or valve assembly/disassembly/repair, or electrical control systems operation and diagnosis
  • Oilfield maintenance and repair (experience with NOV CT/N2 or related systems is an asset)
  • Experience in operation, assembly, testing, and design of oilfield service equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, and codes
  • Microsoft Office & Outlook knowledge
  • May be required to possess valid certifications in first aid, WHMIS, and H2S to visit customer well sites
  • Required to wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection as needed
