About the role

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) located across the APAC region.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing training to ensure individual and team success.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive SDR strategy aligned with overall sales objectives.
  • Continuously refine processes, tactics, and campaigns to optimize lead generation and pipeline development efforts.
  • Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for the SDR team, and actively monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Drive the generation of high-quality sales leads and opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and other lead generation tactics.
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales leadership, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of SDR activities with broader sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork across departments.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of SDR campaigns and initiatives.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics, identify trends, and communicate results to senior leadership.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales development and lead generation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing sales teams, preferably in a technology or software sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation techniques, and sales pipeline management best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages spoken in the APAC region (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) is a plus.
