About the role

  • Supervisor of Marketing Analytics focusing on insights derived from advertising data at Bully Pulpit International. Manage workflows for media analytics and oversee the analytics team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage data, analytics, and reporting workflows for paid media campaigns, including audience management, reporting dashboard setup, QA, and troubleshooting for our largest and most complex clients.
  • Create reporting and analytics POV, infrastructure, and processes for data spanning ad delivery, site traffic, offline events, and purchase behavior
  • Support Reach and Frequency reporting product through incremental changes to methodology, assumption, and data sources (primarily ADH).
  • Build reporting templates and data flows to empower Buyers and Planners to produce regular internal and external reports.
  • Create and maintain both internal optimization dashboards and executive client dashboards. Work with Media Planners, Buyers, and the Data Science team to automate and streamline data-related tasks
  • Set and measure agency-wide benchmarks for quality, accuracy, and performance across ad delivery and 1P / 3P data. Consistently evaluate targeting and measurement partners, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Drive advanced analytics (e.g. MTA, MMM) theory and implementation across clients. Use analytics to bridge the gap in measuring paid, owned, and earned efforts (e.g. impact of an ad campaign on social conversation)
  • Establish in-depth knowledge of the AdTech ecosystem and BPI’s AdTech stack while assisting in vendor managing and implementation.
  • Oversee the management of the Marketing Analytics team through direct management of Marketing Analytics Managers and Analysts

Requirements

  • 4-5 years relevant work experience; exposure to digital media analytics from internships, fellowships or agency-setting is ideal
  • Demonstrated experience using Google Analytics, Datorama, or similar ad analytics tools to aggregate data and derive insights.
  • Experience with ADH, Big Query, or other such datasets and tools.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Google Suite products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can interpret data to communicate with others who have limited experience with ad analytics
  • Close attention to detail with ability to quickly troubleshoot errors with data sets, or data streams
  • Ability to understand measurement frameworks and KPI setting
  • Ability to work autonomously on projects with proper direction from superiors
  • Ability to learn and improve technical skills related to data process automation, specifically with experience in Python or SQL
  • Intellectual curiosity. You push the boundaries of what can be done to improve campaign outcomes and internal workflow processes
