About the role

  • Optimizing and expanding existing customer software systems and processes
  • Resolving incidents on customer software systems according to ITIL processes
  • Designing, estimating, developing and implementing new software features, and maintaining technical documentation
  • Acting as technical lead for software change requests (planning/development/implementation)
  • Ongoing independent professional development and conducting trainings for internal and external stakeholders
  • Serving as point of contact for selected customers
  • Organizing and conducting customer workshops

Requirements

  • Experience in software development and proficiency in C/C++
  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Good knowledge of Unix
  • Completed (higher) education in IT or engineering preferred
  • Understanding of relational databases (Oracle)
  • Good command of English
  • Communicative personality with enjoyment of customer interaction
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20% of annual working time)
  • Team player with a sense of responsibility and strong communication skills
