About the role

  • Deliver simulation solutions to pipeline customers in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Design, configuration, and implementation of pipeline simulation solutions using AVEVA’s Pipeline Integrity Monitor modeling application
  • Develop project documentation including Functional Design Specification and Acceptance Test Procedures
  • Implementation, testing, customer training and site commissioning
  • Participate as a member of larger project teams and deliver final solutions to meet customer needs
  • Work directly with customers to understand needs and requirements
  • Travel to client sites (~25%)

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Petroleum Engineering
  • Experience in software application deployment, development or service, preferably in the Oil or Gas Pipeline Simulation industry
  • 1-3 years general experience in Oil and Gas pipeline transportation or related industry
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills in English
  • C++ and/or Fortran or other coding experience is beneficial
  • Basic computer networking knowledge is beneficial
  • Secondary language skills is beneficial
  • Travel to client sites required (approximately 25%)
  • Must undergo and pass drug screening and comprehensive background check prior to employment
