About the role

  • Support the Assistant and/or Chief Engineer and Sr. Facilities Manager
  • Perform routine operation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs of building systems and equipment
  • Maintain all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment
  • Perform major repairs and replacements including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Ensure ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders
  • Maintain stock and inventory control
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and manage documentation during events

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required
  • Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering
  • Strong background in technical aspects of HVAC equipment and systems, plumbing, electrical, equipment repair and maintenance
  • Appropriate license/permit for trade as may be required
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Valid “Universal” level certification for CFC and HFC-based refrigerants (EPA Section 608)
